GTBC women win Autumn Fours regatta

autumnfoursGreen Templeton's Boat Club Women's A crew has won the Oxford University Autumn Fours Regatta, an event held annually by OURCs on the Isis stretch of the Thames.

The Boat Club entered two boats in the Regatta. The A boat beat St Catherine's College in a quarter-final and Trinity College in a semi-final, before beating Hertford College in the final. In further success, the crew raced against, and beat, boats that competed in the first division in Torpids and Summer Eights.

The winning crew comprised of Sheila Lumley (Stroke) Nadine Levin, Mel Bunce, and Anna Seeley (Bow), and was coxed by Erie Roberts. Naomi Walker will cox this crew in the Women's Fours Head, a 7km race tideway head race, this Saturday November 5th 2011. All support is warmly welcome.

The GTC Women's B crew also did very well, overcoming Wolfson College in the first round, before being knocked out by a strong Lincoln crew.
